11:35	Circle Time / Zoo-phonics

12:30	Good Byes/ End of our Day

Arrival/Greeting Children
You are encouraged to arrive well before 9:00. This is a transition time for parents and children. Children bond with friends and feel included when they begin the day together. Predictable activities are offered for the comfort of the children.

Exercise Time
This time is for building healthy habits, warming up muscles, developing co-ordination, balance and enjoyment of exercise.

Child Directed Activities/Freeplay
Morning inside activities, blocks, puzzles, table work, cutting, pasting, drawing are child directed learning activities as are playground activities after Exercise Circle. Each child determines the tasks/play he or she wishes to engage in each day. Opportunities are offered for learning Zoo-phonics, counting in Spanish, Painting and other Projects daily. Participation is invited not required.

Snacks
We offer healthy snacks including fruit, vegetables, nuts and whole grain crackers or chips and water.

Art, Music and Games
The painting easel is available to the children daily. Music and Games are interspersed throughout the morning and at Circle Time.

Circle Time
Teacher directed games and stories begin Circle Time. Children are given an opportunity to share items, sing, show us an exercise or speak on topics that interest them, perhaps a recent trip to the Met Museum or Fresno’s Chaffee Zoo.

Sharing items:
Favorite Books, Homemade things or Found Objects like, Rocks, Seeds, Shells, Backyard or Garden Discoveries including Bugs are all encouraged as they help Children build a connection to the world around them.
